When I heard the Queen of Latte Art is coming to Chicago, no one with the right mind would pass up the opportunity to meet her. We arranged to meet at Intelligentsia’s Millennium Park store this afternoon.
There were some heavy duty text messagings between MikeP
and I, as I was running a bit late (okay, me, I can’t text messaging). That awful AT&T supposed to drop off some network circuit components but they never showed up! Can you believe it?! By the time I got to intelligentsia, they were done with their coffee already. We chitchat and we later moved the conversation over some pizza pie at Lou Malnati's.
It was great to listen to Lindsay about her travels around the world, and how Matt moved to Vancouver with 2 suitcases in search for the great coffee and he wound up working for the much celebrated baristas’ coffee shop, Elysian Room. I always play safe, but I truly admire for their adventurous personalities to go out there and do what they love to do.
