I had tried a McSpresso at a location in oakbrook (close to their hq). It was about what you would expect, pretty bad stuff from a superauto.

They have been in Nashville for almost a month now, using a dual Franke Evolution. The ads for their drinks cover the entire front face of the building. Looks like McD's is prepared to really push the concept.

Haven't tried it yet...

McSpresso?? Good one, Mike!

hhenley, I remember MCD had a pilot cafe in Chicago years ago, and I thought the layout was really nice, tasty pastries, just very European. The PBTC were from the MCD side, were slow (granted they just opened the place), but the coffee, not very memorable.

funny thing! they've been doing the mccafe here in Sweden for well over 2 years i think. i heard that it was originally designed in australia, think jack hannah said so atleast...
my impressions? pretty crap here in sweden atleast. the concept is nice, clean and userfriendly but as usual its all up to the baristas...
